Woke up at 8:00am. We had roughly 650 miles to go before arriving at WDW. We stayed at Jameson Inn of Roanoke Rapids. It is not the best hotel, but it is clean and adequate for one night. For the price, it met our needs.

A quick stop at Bojangles for breakfast. Now, we are from the Northeast (Delaware) and we do not have this chain in our area. They make very good biscuits and true southern sweet tea. The food is absolutely unhealthy, but oh so good. We got a biscuit sandwich with a cajun chicken filet, BoBerry biscuit, sausage gravy biscuit and sweet tea.

We made good time and arrived at Port Orleans Riverside at 6:30pm. Check in was smooth and we were off to our room in no time. We requested an Alligator Bayou room and were given one in building 25 (room 2508). In years past, we have stayed at Port Orleans French Quarter and wanted to give Riverside a try. It was beautiful just as we suspected. The grounds are well maintained and the vegetation is very lush.

No complaints whatsoever, our room was in a good location and was very clean.
Before leaving, we read Disney had teamed with Dooney & Bourke in creating of a line of handbags. My wife is a handbag person, so as soon as we checked in, we showered and headed directly to Downtown Disney to "look" (look is my wife's word for buy) at handbags. They are nice and relatively inexpensive.
Upon arrival at The World of Disney, we saw this.

My wife's eyes were as big as softballs! She made her purchase and it was off to dinner.

Our traditional first dinner is usually at 'Ohana, but it was booked when I tried to reserve. We decided on The Crab House right off Palm Parkway. Their seafood is good and one of the only places that serve colossal king crab. We live 15 minutes from the Chesapeake, so we know good seafood.

I always order the colossal king crab and my wife ordered stuffed shrimp. The shrimp were good, but not worth the price we paid. The king crab was very good.
