We woke and headed to Epcot. Epcot is my wife's favorite park. Upon arrival, we went directly to The Land, grabbed a fastpass for Soarin' and rode Living With The Land. After the ride, we shared a breakfast platter at Garden Grill.

After breakfast, it was off to Soarin', Circle of Life and Journey Into Imagination. After that, we headed into World Showcase starting at the UK end. We like World Showcase, but it is getting a bit "tired". It is in need of a new country or a new attraction or two. By the time we reached France, it was time for lunch and we had reservations at Chefs de France.
The meal starts with a baguette. My wife ordered the Croque Monsieur which is a french toasted ham and cheese. It came with a simple green salad. I ordered the three course fixed menu which started with the lobster bisque.

After the bisque, I also had the Croque Monsieur. This is not your ordinary grilled ham and cheese. It was the best ham and cheese I ever ate.

I ended with the profiteroles which are a small eclair pastry with ice cream. They were good.

Remy comes around during lunch and he did make a stop by our table.

After lunch, we walked through the rest of World Showcase, grabbed a fish and chips snack then headed back to the room to relax.

After a quick nap, we showered and headed to The Yachtsman Steakhouse. We have eaten at The Yachtsman on three previous trips. Two years ago, we had a fantastic meal at Yachtsman, but missed it last year as it was under a rehab when we were there. We were really looking forward to it.
Upon arrival, we were seated immediately. The restaurant was roughly half full which we thought odd as it has traditionally been a long sought reservation.
A mixed bread basket with butter/olive oil/roasted garlic was brought to the table. The bread was fresh baked and very good with the stand out being a pull apart onion roll-very good.

I ordered an unsweet tea for dinner and when it arrived, it was served with a small container of simple syrup. This is the first time I have seen this, a nice touch.

We both ordered the Caesar salad to start and they were very good.

For our entrees, we both ordered the New York Strip which came with potato gratin. We also ordered a side of creamed spinach and a side of sauteed mushrooms. When the food arrived, we immediately noticed the creamed spinach was different than in years past. In years past, it was very "cheesy" with a hard parmesan crust on top. This time, there was no crust and onions have been added. This is the first time I have seen onions in creamed spinach. Upon the first bite, it was obvious the changes to the creamed spinach decreased the quality of the dish. So much so, we had a few bites and left the rest. The quality of the New York Strip was sub par as well---it was bit tough and not seasoned. The side of mushrooms were OK, but the potato gratin was very good. We were disappointed in this meal as it is an expensive restaurant.

After dinner, we walked to Beaches & Cream for dessert. I had a chocolate shake and my wife had the brownie sundae. After dessert, we headed back to room.
